| For a more hands-on approach consider the Fly Tying Club at the Laughing Grizzly Fly Shop in Longmont, CO. The club will meet one evening a month from 7:00pm to about 9:00pm. For more information e-mail me or talk to Mike Kruise at the Laughing Grizzly (303-772-9110). One month we may tie specific patterns for the season, another month patterns to cover a specific bug, or it may be focused on specific techniques, materials, or questions. Throughout the season members will schedule "field trips" where we can fish together. The final meeting of the year will be a movie showing and pot luck. There will also be drawings that night for a Laughing Grizzly gift certificate and one of each of the flies I tied at each meeting throughout the year. |
