| Need help with your fly tying? Whether you're just getting started or have been at it a while and would like a little help, we can put together a class for you. We have standard classes that are very popular, or we can custom design a class just for you to address problems you're experiencing or to cover new techniques or flies. Own a shop and need an instructor? We can help with that also. We do classes for shops, individuals, clubs and small to medium size groups at your facility or mine. | For a slightly different experience, consider the Fly Tying Club at the Laughing Grizzly Fly Shop in Longmont, CO. The club meets one evening a month from 7:00pm to about 9:00pm. For more information e-mail me or talk to Mike Kruise at the Laughing Grizzly (303-772-9110). One month we may tie specific patterns for the season, another month patterns to cover a specific bug, or it may be focused on specific techniques, materials, or questions. Throughout the season members will schedule "field trips" where we can fish together. The final meeting of the year will be a movie showing and pot luck. There will also be drawings that night for a Laughing Grizzly gift certificate and one of each of the flies I tied at each meeting throughout the year. |
